The idea is that everyone will be in costume and the “venue” is a tavern on an airship. Besides drinking, what other kinds of games or activities would be theme-appropriate?
I also need some suggestions for decorations. So far, all we have is a tavern sign to hang up outside the front door. Any suggestions that won’t cost a fortune would be good.

Steampunk, Cyberpunk? Why?
Sunday, March 28th, 2010I’ve heard of the genres steampunk and cyberpunk. But why is there always a “punk” at the end? And are there any other genres with “punk” added on… Because these are the only two I’ve heard of.
A few steampunk questions?
Saturday, March 20th, 20101. Where can I find more steampunk terminology?
2. Where can I buy steampunk stuff in Los Angeles?
I found out about it a few years ago, after I left seattle unfortunately ( I heard it’s big out there), and fell in love with it. Now I’m putting together a realm for my novel and I was it to be very steampunk-esque. Thanks
How can I get a steampunked computer?
Friday, March 19th, 2010I’ve recently came across the concept of steampunk, and I LOVE much of it!
I’ve always liked older things, antique’s and such, and the idea of combining new with old like steampunk does absolutely intrigues me. My house already has an antique theme, but I think it would be so neat to have a steampunked computer. Do you know of anyone that could do that for me? About how much would such a thing cost, assuming that I provide the computer. I’m not really mechanically inclined. Thanks!
What are the basic ingredients in alchemy?
Wednesday, March 17th, 2010I’m making a steampunk-esque alchemy kit, and I need to know the basic ingredients used in 18th/19th century alchemy. By basic I mean like silver nitrate, cadmia, etc. The websites I’ve found have given me conflicting information (ie, Wiki gives me 80+ ingredients, google shows me lists that have only 7, etc).
